No. We configure your DNS records before initiating the transfer to ensure your website and business emails remain active and operational without interruption.

How long does a domain transfer take?

UK domains (.co.uk / .uk) usually transfer within a few hours. International domains (like .com or .org) typically take between 5 to 7 days depending on your current registrar’s approval process.

Do I lose the remaining time left on my domain registration?

No! Any remaining time on your existing registration transfers over with your domain, plus a full extra year is added to your expiration date upon completion.

What do I need to start the transfer process?

You will need access to your current domain provider to unlock the domain and obtain a transfer authorization code (also called an EPP code or IPS tag for UK domains). We’ll guide you through finding this if you need help!
